Hello and good morning! Basically: I am a socially inept twenty-three year old redhead with an incurable addiction to books. (I am borderline bibliokleptic. I have more books than Smaug had treasure. No I'm totally serious.) Alexandra is my middle name. My first name is androgynous, which is cool for the most part, but problematic on the internet.

In 2012 I attended and more importantly survived Odyssey Writing Workshop. That officially makes me an Odfellow (like I need to actually call myself odd to get that point across). It also means I'm supposed to have a first draft of my fantasy novel finished by March. Pray for me.

I'm also really interested in moral philosophy. I'm currently in the process of trying to convince people I'm smart enough to study bioethics at the graduate level, though I'm not sure I'm succeeding.

Current interests include: Merlin, Broadchurch, Brideshead Revisited (book and TV series), Doctor Who, Merlin, Game of Thrones, The Hobbit/Lord of the Rings, the Doctrine of Labyrinths series by Sarah Monette, Merlin, anything by Chesterton, and sometimes Downton Abbey. Also Merlin.

My posts are sporadic and jumbled, since my ability to think in a straight line is extremely limited, but I'm trying to be more organized. Feel free to friend or to chat or whatever! I love meeting new people, and I talk to everyone. (Just ineptly.)
